ENGLISH FOLLOWS THE JAPANESE 2019年11月9日、少林寺拳法オレンジカウンティ支部の乱取り大会が行われました。71名の拳士が鎮魂、基本練習を行った後、ジャスティン・ウェン、ガガンジョット・アロラ、スコット・リーによる奉納演武が行われました。 乱取り大会は勝ち負けの争いではなく、人生において様々な挑戦に面した時に強く立ち向かう力を培うためのものです。そして今年の大会は少年拳士達の父母による気合いコンテストの楽しい笑い声によって幕を閉じました。少林寺拳法OC支部を牽引する若きリーダー達、ジャスティン・ウェン、ガガンジョット・アロラ、スコット・リーの大会での貢献に感謝いたします。 合掌

Shorinji Kempo Orange County Randori Taikai. The Taikai opened up with 71 students performing meditation (Chinkon), Kihon practice and Hounou embu demonstration led by Justin Nguyen, Gaganjyot Aurora and Scott Ly. Shorinji Kempo Randori Taikai is not about fighting or wining/losing, but rather the ability to stand strong in the face of various challenges experienced in life. The Randori Taikai ended with a kiai contest for the parents where we all received a great laugh. A big shout out to our branches futures leaders Justin, Gaganjyot and Scott whose dedication and support continues set a precedence for others to follow. Well done!!!! Gassho!
