Gassho! Orange County Shorinji Kempo Branch Participated in the South Bay Godo Renshu on Sunday August 25, 2019 !!! 45 kenshi from 4 different branches practiced kihon and a multitude of techniques ranging from 6th Kyu to 5th dan. Uekuma sensei with help of Michael French hosted and created a great atmosphere of fun and friendship. The best part was when kids and adults broke a watermelon with their eyes closed. Shorinji Kempo dojo shares the philosophy of "Half for oneself and half for other” to nurture a culture of helping one another grow and learn which continues to be instilled in every single student. Thank you for creating excellent memories!!! Gassho!
