合掌！少林寺拳 法オレンジカウンティ支部が世界初のバーチャルライブストリーミング・形大会を開催しました。 5つの支部から47人の拳士が参加。インドネシア支部、ノースカロライナ州アッシュビル支部、カリフォルニア州オレンジカウンティ支部、ペニンスラ支部、ロサンゼルス支部が大会に参加しました。バーチャル形大会を開催することで、拳士、家族、友人を集めて少林寺拳法を促進する機会をどのように生み出すことができるかを学びました。これは、拳士が自分自身に挑戦することを奨励するのに有効な方法です。
その中で最も際立ったのが、インドネシア支部のZhafira拳士とLA支部のHailey T拳士が行った形でした。大勢の人前で技を発表するという不安にも打ち勝ち、勇気を持って大きな気合いと集中力で素晴らしい形を披露してくれました。 Zhafira拳士とHailey拳士の今後の活躍に大いに期待したいと思います。彼女らのような拳士達が明るい未来を築いてくれるものと信じます。
トオル拳士、エミリー拳士、イローナ拳士の努力が、難しいコロナ禍の中でも少林寺拳法を促進する原動力となり、このイベントを成功に導きました。心から感謝いたします。

Gassho! Shorinji Kempo Orange County branch held its first in the world virtual live streaming Kata tournament. 47 students from 5 branches; Indonesia, Asheville NC, Orange County, Peninsula, and LA branches participated in the tournament. Holding a virtual Kata tournament has taught us how we can all create opportunities for bringing students, families, and friends together to promote Shorinji Kempo. It’s a great way to encourage students to challenge themselves.
Honorable mentions go to Zhafira kenshi from Indonesia and Hailey T from LA branch who overcame her fear and did an excellent kata with loud Kiai and great focus!!! Zhafira and Hailey Keep up the excellent work!!! You lead the way to our future!!!! Toru, Emily, and Ilona your efforts kept the Shorinji Kempo momentum which made this tournament possible!!! Thank you!!!!
If the world is going to get better, it's going to be up to us to make it better through our actions. Effort never lies!
